The solid outline is the finished hexagon. Cut paper on that line for English paper piecing. For fabric, add the seam allowance required by your project in the studio.
The measurement to know: finished hexagon edge length. Size means the length of one edge, as commonly used for paper-piecing hexagons. It is not the width of the whole shape. Templates fit completely inside the margin.
On this sheet: complete shapes: 6; shape width: 60 mm; shape height: 51.96 mm. The drawing area is 230 × 156 mm.

ISO B5 is 176 × 250 mm. This differs from Japanese JIS B5 (182 × 257 mm). Changing the paper size adjusts the available area; the selected pattern measurement stays the same.
